How did you get into art?

I've been drawing for as long as I could remember. Any piece of paper I could find, I drew on it. But by the time I got my hands on Photoshop in 2016, I transitioned to the world of digital art, which is where I'm at now.

Where are you from?

If we're talking about my place of birth, then I am from New York City. But if we're talking about ethnicity, then I am Puerto Rican, Dominican, and Ecuadorian.

What tools do you use?

I use a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet for my main work. My main software for art is Photoshop. I occasionally use Procreate on my iPad as well. For videos and other art-related projects, I use Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects.

How do you create your art?

To keep it simple, I start with an idea for how it'll look and then find the right references for the project. Then I composite them together and draw over them. Finally, I paint on top of the traced sketch using brushes reminiscent of traditional oil painting. Colors and effects are then used to give the painting that special gleam.

How long does it take to complete a project?

It depends on how detailed and how complex the project is. I consult with clients to get the idea fleshed out before the project begins. I then provide them with rough sketches before refining. Typically, a simple portrait would take 2-3 business days to deliver. Longer projects such as the recreation of a crowded event would take about 1-3 weeks.

How can I contact you?

You can reach me for any business inquiries using the form on the Contact page. It'll send me an email and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I'm also open to DMs on Instagram.
